Meal-In-One Beef Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dill seed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. commercial sour cream
2 c. canned onion rings (Durkee)
Preparation

In hot shortening, saute chopped onion and ground chuck until lightly browned, stirring with a fork.
Add salt, pepper, dill seed, chicken soup, corn, mixed vegetables and sour cream.
Spoon into baking dish.
Cover and refrigerate.
About 30 minutes before serving, heat oven to 350\u00b0, uncover casserole and sprinkle onion rings over top.
Bake 30 minutes or until hot, covering loosely with foil after 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning of onion rings. Makes 6 servings.
