Tomatoes, Country Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/8 tsp. salt
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. chopped basil (1/2 tsp. dried)
    4 large tomatoes
    1/2 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. milk
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Beat together garlic, parsley, salt, cream cheese and basil. Cut tomatoes into 12 even 1/2-inch thick slices.
    Spread 6 slices with 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture.
    Top with tomato slice.
    Dip each in flour, egg mixture and bread crumbs.
    Fry on both sides over medium heat in butter and oil until brown.
