Beef Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef pot roast
    8 medium potatoes, pared and sliced
    8 carrots, pared and sliced
    1/2 c. water
    favorite seasonings
    1/2 onion, peeled and sliced (optional)
    1 beef bouillon cube (optional)
Preparation
    Put vegetables in bottom of crock-pot.
    Season meat and add it to crock-pot.
    Add the water.
    If desired, the onion and bouillon cube may be added before adding the water.
    Cover and cook on high setting for 4 hours.
