Citrus Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 C sugar
    6 C grapefruit juice, chilled
    2 C water
    1 1/2 C lime juice, chilled
    6 C orange juice, chilled
    1 litter ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    In a saucepan bring sugar and water to a boil. Cook for five minutes. Cover and refrigerate until cool. Combine juices and sugar mixture. Mix well. Just before serving, stir in ginger ale. Serve over ice. Yield 6 quarts.
