Polly'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    6 medium potatoes, cut up
    3 medium onions, cut up
    4 to 5 celery stalks, cut up
    4 to 5 carrots, sliced
    1 pt. whole kernel corn
    1 large can pork and beans
    1 c. macaroni
    1 c. peas (optional)
    1 gal. homemade tomato juice
    1 qt. tomatoes
Preparation
    Bring tomato juice to boil.
    Add vegetables; stir and cook for a while.
    Add crumbled hamburger and continue cooking, stirring to prevent sticking.
    Add salt and sugar to taste.
    Serve.
    This makes a large amount but also can be canned for later use.
