Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium size cooking apples or 1 can drained canned fruit
    1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. oats (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice apples.
    Place fruit in greased baking dish. Combine dry ingredients. Add melted margarine, mixing until crumbly.
    Sprinkle on top of apples.
    Bake in preheated moderate oven at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or cold with your favorite whipped topping.
