Ingredients

8 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
3 cartons half and half or 4 cartons whipping cream plus 1 carton half and half
additional regular milk
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs until thick.
Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff.
Stir in salt and vanilla.
Add half and half (or whipping cream and half and half).
Put in electric or hand-crank freezer and add milk up to the fill mark on the freezer.
Freeze 20 minutes.
This is a creamy, good vanilla ice cream.
Not for those watching their cholesterol, though!
