Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot sausage
    5 slices bread
    1 small jar sliced mushrooms
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    5 eggs
    2 c. half and half cream
    Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry hot sausage, drain and cool. Spray a large 10 x 10-inch or larger Corning Ware casserole dish with Pam.
    Butter bread on both sides and cube.
    Cover bottom of dish with bread. Crumble sausage over bread.
    Spread on mushrooms. Put cheese on next. Beat eggs, half and half, salt and pepper. I use a whisk. Pour over all other ingredients.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate overnight or up to 3 days before cooking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
