Carberry'S Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. flank steak
    1 green pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, diced
Preparation
    Cut flank into thin slices against grain.
    Sear meat in frying pan.
    Combine last 5 ingredients and add to frying pan; simmer on low flame for 25 minutes, covered.
    Add sliced pepper and onion and simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
    Add cornstarch to water; stir. Add and wait 5 minutes.
