Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (No. 2 1/2) sauerkraut
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. diced onion
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. diced pimentos
Preparation
    Drain sauerkraut in colander for 15 minutes.
    Cut into 1 inch pieces with scissors.
    Place in large mixing bowl; add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Store covered in refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
    Will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator.
