Peanut Butter Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. granulated sugar
    6 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 jar (12 oz.) peanut butter (crunchy)
Preparation
    Heat syrup and sugar over medium heat only until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Mix in rice cereal.
    Pour into an 8 x 12-inch buttered pan.
    Cut into squares when thoroughly cooled.
    Yields 2 dozen.
