Three-Week Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. green cabbage, chopped coarsely
1 green pepper, chopped
2 white onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. celery seed
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Combine cabbage, onions, pepper and sugar.
Mix oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt.
Bring to a hard boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture and stir until well-mixed.
Store in refrigerator in air-tight container.
Let stand at least 3 days.
Flavor improves with age.
Will keep refrigerated for 1 month.
