Cherries Jubilee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pitted black Bing cherries
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 lemon
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. brandy
    4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Grate half the lemon rind and mix with the juice from half a lemon with the sugar.
    Place in pan with the cherries.
    Dissolve the cornstarch in the juice from the cherries; add to the pan and heat gently until a thick sauce has formed.
    Add the cinnamon.
