Butter Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. butter, softened and divided
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
    Stir in pecans and cook 10 to 15 minutes, until pecans are browned.
    Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Cool to room temperature.
