Penny'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    approximately 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1/3 stick butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in the top of a double boiler.
    Add milk; cook until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add some of the hot mixture to the beaten eggs.
    Add this egg and chocolate mixture to the original mix.
    Return to heat; cook for 3 minutes.
    Add butter and vanilla; mix well.
    Pour mixture into a baked 9-inch pie shell. Use egg whites to make a meringue.
    Put on top of pie.
    Bake until golden brown at 400\u00b0 (approximately 10 minutes).
