Date Pecan Candy Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light cream
    1/3 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 lb. dates, chopped
    4 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cream, syrup and butter in saucepan.
    Boil until it reaches 238\u00b0 or until it forms soft ball when dropped in cold water.
