Mexican Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or more pork sausage (according to taste)
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 oz. chili seasoning mix
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Cook onion and sausage in a skillet over medium heat until onions are tender, but not brown.
    Drain.
    Add water, rice, salt, seasoning mix and beans.
    Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
    Cover tightly and simmer at least 20 minutes.
    Stir occasionally. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed.
    Makes 6 servings.
