Pecan Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. Marshmallow Creme
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 lb. pkg. caramels
    pecans
Preparation
    Cream together.
    Roll into 8 logs about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide.
    Put in freezer overnight.
    Must be frozen solid. Melt 1 pound package of caramels in a double boiler.
    Remove 1 log roll from freezer at a time.
    Cover with caramel and place whole pecans on it.
    Cover entirely with pecans.
    It is easier to do 1/2 of log completely, then do other end.
    When caramel is set, roll in plastic wrap and put in covered can.
    Can be stored 1 to 2 months.
