Grandma'S Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (or sirloin), cut in 1 inch by 2 inch strips
    2 small or 1 large onion, chopped fine or 1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can sliced mushrooms (or use fresh)
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. Burgundy wine or cooking sherry
Preparation
    Dredge steaks well with flour.
    Brown floured steaks in butter.
    Add onions (or onion soup), mushrooms, beef bouillon and water to cover.
    Add wine and cook over low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Fold in sour cream just before serving.
    Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
