Candied Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots (1 bunch)
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
1/2 c. brown or white sugar
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
dash of salt
Preparation
-
Cut carrots in 2-inch pieces or in thick slices.
Mix all ingredients together.
Place in medium-sized pan.
Cover; cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Uncover and cook until heavy syrup is formed.
Be careful not to burn.
