Ingredients
    1 lb. venison chunks (stew or steaks)
    1 can mushroom soup
    4 potatoes, cubed
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 pkg. golden onion soup mix
    1 soup can water
    2 carrots, diced
    1 c. smoked Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown meat in vegetable oil.
    Transfer meat to 2-quart casserole.
    Combine all other ingredients and pour over meat.
    Bake, covered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
