Peggy'S Surprise Pastries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf very fresh bread
    soft butter
    jelly or preserves (strawberry, cherry, etc.)
    cinnamon and sugar
    10x sugar
Preparation
    Roll slices of bread with rolling pin until very thin.
    Trim off 3 crusts.
    Spread bread slices with soft butter.
    At the end where crust remains, place a teaspoon of jelly or preserves.
    Roll up and spread top with butter.
    Place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 15 minutes, then at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes more or until golden brown.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
    When cooled, sift 10x sugar over top.
