White Mountain Frosting Or Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. egg whites (2)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water until it spins a 6 to 8-inch thread.
    Beat egg whites until they stand in stiff peaks.
    Pour hot syrup slowly into beaten egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
    Add vanilla and blend.
    Frost cake.
