Welsh Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 scant tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 sticks margarine
    1 c. currants
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Beat eggs with milk; add to dry ingredients.
    Add currants.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick dough (add more milk if too dry).
    Fry on electric grill at 325\u00b0 (stove-top grill 400\u00b0); turn once.
    For cutting out, a doughnut cutter without the center works well.
    Do not burn!
