Hidden Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (16 oz.) pears, liquid drained and reserved
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) lime Jell-O
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/4 tsp. lemon juice
    1 envelope whipped topping mix
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    In a saucepan boil pear liquid; add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
    Remove from heat and cool at room temperature until syrupy.
    Meanwhile puree pears in blender.
    In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
    Add pureed pears and mix well.
    Prepare whipped topping according to package directions.
    Fold into pear mixture.
    Fold in cool gelatin.
    Pour into 4 1/2-cup greased mold.
    Chill overnight.
    Serve squares on lettuce leaves.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
