Chili Con Carne(Contest Winner) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2/3 c. diced onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic flakes
    1 can red beans, rinsed and drained
    2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. chili powder
Preparation
    In large pot add oil, beef and onion.
    Cook on medium heat until beef is brown.
    Drain off oil.
    Add other ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
