Potato-Ham Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cold water
2 c. cooked, diced ham
2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. diced onions
1/2 c. diced celery
2 cubes beef bouillon
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. chopped chives
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. flour
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except milk and flour in a large saucepan.
Mix well.
Bring to a boil, then simmer until potatoes are fork-tender.
Set aside.
In small bowl gradually add milk to flour, stirring constantly.
Add this mixture to soup, stirring constantly.
Heat, but do not boil, until thickened.
