Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 stick margarine
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 eggs, separated
1 tsp. each: lemon, almond and vanilla flavorings
Preparation

Cream Crisco, margarine and sugar. Add 1 egg yolk at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix flour, salt and baking powder and add to batter alternately with milk. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold them into batter along with the flavorings. Grease a Bundt pan well and sprinkle with flour, dusting entire pan. Pour batter into pan and strike pan on a flat surface to rid the batter of bubbles. Start baking process in a cold oven set on 325\u00b0 and bake 1 1/2 hours.
