Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. milk
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    In a large bowl cream butter and shortening.
    Add the brown sugar and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating until creamy.
    Sift flour and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Fold in nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a cake tester inserted near center of cake comes out clean.
