Delicious Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large baking apples
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    4 tsp. butter
    1 c. Rose (wine)
    1/2 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Core apples; pare strip from top of each.
    Place apples in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Stir together the brown sugar and ground nutmeg; spoon into apple center.
    Top each with 1 teaspoon of butter.
    Pour wine into baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, basting occasionally.
    Serve warm.
    If desired, top with a little sour cream and sprinkle with a little nutmeg.
