Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 tsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring sugar and milk mixture to a full boil and cook to soft-ball stage (238\u00b0 to 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer).
Remove from heat and add margarine and vanilla. Beat until thickened but still pourable.
Pour over cake. (You can add a small amount of milk if it is too thick.)
