Yam Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. mashed yams
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. milk
    2 egg whites
    9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks, mashed yams, firmly packed brown sugar, salt, melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Blend well.
    Add milk. Blend in egg whites (beaten until they peak).
    Pour into 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
    Serve warm or cool.
