Oatmeal Coconut Coronets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. coconut
    4 c. oatmeal
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease baking sheets.
    Cream the shortening and sugars.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Sift together the dry ingredients and add to egg mixture.
    Blend in coconut, oatmeal and vanilla.
    Drop onto cookie sheets.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    They freeze well.
    Yields 6 to 7 dozen.
