Butterscotch Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yams
    1/2 c. Karo
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook yams, peel and quarter.
    Arrange yams in single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. In a 2-quart saucepan, combine remaining ingredients, stirring constantly.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 5 minutes. Pour over yams.
    Bake, basting frequently for 15 minutes longer, or until glazed.
    Makes 6 servings.
