Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix and spread in well-greased and floured 8 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    (Do not overbake.) Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
