Hot Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb bacon, cut up into small pieces and fried
    3 Tbsp sugar
    2 Tbsp flour
    1 egg
    1/3 c vinegar
    2/3 c water
    2 hard boiled eggs
    1 pkg leaf lettuce, washed and drained (or fresh lettuce from garden)
Preparation
    Fry and drain bacon, set aside, leaving 2 Tbsp of grease in the skillet.
    Mix sugar with flour and add egg.
    Mix vinegar with water.
    Add both mixtures together, and pour over grease in skillet.
    Cook over low heat until slightly thick.
    Pour over lettuce and garnish with hard boiled egg slices and crumbled bacon.
