Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
7 to 8 apples
1 Tbsp. flour
dash of salt
2/3 to 3/4 c. sugar (larger amount for tart apples)
1/3 c. shortening
2 to 3 Tbsp. ice water
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
Preparation

Sift flour and salt.
Cut shortening in mixture the size of small peas.
Add ice water; mix until a small ball.
Roll on floured board.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then turn down to 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
