Sherried Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh medium mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt
    fresh pepper
    1/4 c. cream sherry
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    chopped parsley or tarragon or thyme
Preparation
    Melt butter in saute pan until it foams.
    Add mushrooms and saute on high. When mushrooms drop their water add sherry and boil hard until syrupy.
    Then add whipping cream, herbs and salt and pepper.
    Serve when liquid reduces by half.
