Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. Karo syrup (dark)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix ingredients well.
    Fill 1 (9-inch) pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes.
    (Bake longer if filling will appear softer in center; it will get stiff enough after cooled.) Put foil around sides of crust during baking to prevent burning.
