Fluffy Frosting(Frosts 9 X 13-Inch Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small carton Cool Whip
    1 jar maraschino cherries and juice, cut up
    1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. water
    vanilla and almond flavoring
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix 1/4 cup water with unflavored gelatin and let set 5 minutes, then warm to dissolve.
    Let cool.
    Add cherries and juice.
    Let set in fridge until partially thick (about an hour). Add to Cool Whip, vanilla and almond.
    Frost cake.
    Top with nuts. Keep in fridge.
    Good.
