Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples or as many as needed per person
    cinnamon
    brown sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Wash and core apples.
    Apples may be baked whole, skins on or off.
    Score apples halfway to keep apples from bursting.
    Arrange apples in baking dish.
    Add 1 tablespoon sugar to each apple and top with 1 teaspoon margarine.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Pour 1/2 cup water around apples to prevent sticking.
    Bake, uncovered, until tender, 45 to 60 minutes.
