24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. cream, whipped
    2 cans fruit cocktail
    few chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    pinch of salt
    16 colored marshmallows, quartered
    1 banana
Preparation
    In double boiler, beat egg with fork, stir in lemon juice, sugar and salt.
    Cook, stirring, over hot water about 5 minutes or until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat, cool.
    Fold in cream, marshmallows, fruit and pecans.
    Chill overnight.
