Amish Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 slices toasted bread, cubed
    2 c. diced, cooked potatoes
    1 c. chopped carrots
    3 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    6 eggs
    1 qt. liquid (meat stock, milk, cream or condensed milk)
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, put bread cubes, potatoes, carrots, onion and parsley.
    Add 6 eggs, well beaten.
    Then add the liquid. Then add 1 pint or more cooked diced chicken and salt, pepper and sage to taste.
    Toss lightly.
    The dressing may be cooked in a well buttered skillet or baked in a roaster in the oven.
