Meal-In-A-Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf Italian bread (whole, not sliced)
    1 can tomato soup
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    3 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    salt
    pepper
    Italian seasoning
    oregano
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion and green pepper in skillet.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cut Italian bread in half, horizontally, giving a top and bottom section.
    Remove doughy center of both the top and bottom sections by pinching it out.
    Save the pieces of bread in mixing bowl.
