Scalloped Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium onions
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. buttered bread cubes
Preparation
    Cook onions until tender; drain liquid, about 1 1/2 cups. Thicken with flour, cut in cheese and bring to a boil; simmer until cheese has dissolved. Pour over onions and put in 2-quart baking dish, covered with buttered bread cubes.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
