Chow Chow Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. cabbage
4 c. green tomatoes
4 c. onions
8 to 12 small sweet peppers
hot peppers to taste
1/2 c. salt
5 c. sugar (use less sugar for tarter taste)
4 c. vinegar
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation

Mix in a large stainless steel pan.
Add ground vegetables to mixture and cook for 3 minutes.
Can in clean pint jars.
Makes about 12 pints.
