Six Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peeled, sliced potatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. onion, chopped
    green pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 2-quart well-greased casserole, evenly layer potatoes, meat, carrot and celery.
    Top with pepper rings and tomatoes.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper and a little shredded cheese.
    Cook and cover for 2 hours.
