Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. water
1 c. raw peanuts
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Boil the sugar, syrup and salt in water until it cracks when tested in cold water. Add butter and peanuts.
Cook until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and soda. Stir well.
Pour into well buttered cookie sheet.
Spread brittle out. Chill and break into pieces.
