Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. macaroni
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain thoroughly.
    Stir in butter and egg.
    Mix mustard and salt with 1 tablespoon hot water and add to milk in medium bowl.
    Add cheese, reserving enough to sprinkle on top.
    Pour macaroni into buttered casserole dish.
    Add milk/cheese mixture and sprinkle with reserved cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until custard is set and top is crusty, about 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
