Pinto Beans(Tasty) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans, soaked
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    salt pork (2 x 4-inch) or ham hock
    1 (6 oz.) can V-8 juice
    water
Preparation
    Rinse beans in cold water.
    Remove broken beans, stones and etc.
    Place beans in large bowl with enough cold water over them 3-inches above beans.
    Let them soak overnight.
    Rinse beans again and put in pressure cooker; add salt, ham hock, V-8 juice and enough water to cover them about 2-inches above beans.
    Cook for 40 minutes.
    Do not overcook!
    (Can be cooked all day in crock-pot.)
